Starting with a act of kindness out of one persons heart to help one child, a idea was sparked to create a foundation to bring Hip Hop artists together to help local children and families dealing with childhood cancer.
Hip Hop for Hope Childhood Cancer Foundation rallies communities around music as a tool to help save the lives of children battling cancer. Hip Hop for Hope offers small travel grants to families with children diagnosed with cancer, to provide travel funds for food, gas and lodging while receiving cancer treatment at facilities outside the county.
Hip Hop for Hope provides small grants to individuals for medically related travel needs for their children’s cancer treatment. Hip Hop for Hope Childhood Cancer Foundation is a DreamMaker project of the Ink People Center for the Arts (http://www.inkpeople.org), a 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable California organization.
